Better Late...

Sunday evening at 11:25 p.m. and I am just now getting to today's Slice.  Its been a very busy day, what with catching up on chores like laundry, doing the week's shopping at Sam's and Walmart, and grading-grading-grading.  I love doing projects with my social studies classes, but they take forever to grade!  I always spend too much time enjoying the works of creativity submitted by student to be an efficient evaluator.

Lunch on Sunday afternoon lately is an afternoon getaway for me and Mr G.  With our house full again, it is our time to get away and just spend time together, just the two of us, and reconnect.  Today we reconnected over grilled chicken won-ton tacos at Applebee's.

The most interesting thing I saw today was at Walmart.  We had pulled in after lunch and a trip to Sam's to get the rest of our groceries.  Parked out in front of the store was a giant, rolling peanut!

How much fun would a job like that be?  I always thought it would be fun to drive to wienermobile, too.  I know I always get excited when I see it going down the road!

That was my day.  Kinda boring (except for the unexpected peanutmobile!), but I'm ok with that.  Sometimes, a quiet, boring day is just what is needed.
